Jwala Devi Temple is located on the hilltop of the Benog Hills; at an altitude of more than 2,100 m. Dotted with huge and lush forests of pine and deodar, the path to the temple begins from Cloud’s End. The temple is devoted to Goddess Durga and its inner sanctum has a stone idol of the goddess. Both devotees and nature lovers are attracted to the shrine for its splendid surroundings and cool atmosphere. Tourists can also see the Shivalik range on one side and the dense green Yamuna Valley on the other.
